Parking Permits
Parking permits for Bradley International Airport are available to all State employees on official State business regardless of source of air ticket purchase. Request for parking permit may be made by checking the box on the Travel Authorization form. However, a current copy of the employee’s personal automobile insurance policy must be on file in the Travel Office (see section “Insurance and Use of Personally Owned Vehicle”, page 5).
Lot 3 is designated for State employees traveling on State business. Should Lot 3 be entirely full, proceed to Lot B located in front of TERMINAL B. This lot is designated for State employees and has yet to be filled to full capacity. Park in Lot B only if Lot 3 is full. The last option would be to park in Lot 1 only if Lot 3 and Lot B are FULL. There is no parking attendant to stop you from parking in the designated location(s). If you choose to park elsewhere, you will be responsible for the parking fees incurred. Parking in the Bradley Airport parking garage will not be reimbursed.
If no parking is available or a parking permit is not accepted it must be returned to the Travel Office along with the parking receipt to be reimbursed for parking.
A parking permit is only valid for the length of the business travel, with a limit of up to fourteen (14) days. Any parking fees incurred beyond that will be the responsibility of the individual at the time they exit the parking facility.
Charges for airport parking (other than Bradley International Airport) are reimbursable, a receipt is required.
