Ever since the age of five, Tyler has been intrigued by weather. Living in Connecticut as a kid, he loved the changing of the seasons and all the nor’easters that came up the coast during the winter. In his sophomore year of high school, he knew meteorology was for him when Hurricane Irene greatly impacted his hometown of East Haven, Connecticut. Since he wants to inform people on how damaging and powerful storms can be, he would like to pursue a career in broadcast meteorology or the field of climatology. Tyler is a member of the Meteorology Club here at Western Connecticut State University. After graduation, he would like to attend graduate school and complete a doctorate in meteorology.
