WESTCONNect ID Card Comes to Waterbury!
To accommodate our Waterbury students, the WESTCONNect Card Office, in conjunction with the Western at Waterbury office, will provide Waterbury students a WESTCONNect card at the Waterbury campus that will provide the following services:
The WESTCONNECT Card will provide the students with a photo ID that shows they are a member of the Western Connecticut State University Community.
The card has swipe technology that will allow students to use the library services at the Danbury campuses of WCSU.
How do I obtain a Waterbury ID Card?
Students who have registered for classes may obtain their ID card in Waterbury. Contact Nicole Kulberg at kullbergN@wcsu.edu to arrange for a time to meet in Kinney Hall 519. Present your driver’s license or other form of photo ID and your class schedule. Your photo will be taken. You will be notified via email that your card is available for pickup from the secretary in Ekstrom Hall 627 within 10-14 days.
What if I lose my card?
If you have lost the card issued to you from the Waterbury Campus, contact the Waterbury secretary at 203-596-8777 or LangellottiC@wcsu.edu and bring a completed replacement form (download the replacement form here) to Ekstrom Hall 627.
Your university account will be charged a $5 replacement fee and you will then be contacted in 10-14 days to pick up your replacement card in Ekstrom Hall 627.
What if I want to use my ID card for other services at the Danbury campuses?
The WESTCONNect Card issued through Waterbury is designed for use by the Western at Waterbury students and does not have all the financial and access privileges available at the Danbury campuses. To obtain a full-service card, bring a valid photo ID AND your WESTCONNect ID to the WESTCONNect Card office, located at the rear of the Old Main Administrative Building at the Danbury midtown office.
