Judging Criteria
- Introduction
Clarity of research question and background information in the poster and as explained by the student. - Methodology
Clarity of methods used in the poster and as explained by the student. - Results/Discussion
Are the results/findings/claims interpreted correctly and presented clearly in the poster and as explained by the student. - Questions
How well does the student handle questions from the judges (i.e., how well does the student understand his/her project)? - Display aesthetics
How well organized the poster is.
In the case of a tie for the Provost's award, two judges will be asked to judge the posters to determine which poster will win the prize.
