ALL SUBMISSIONS should be submitted to the WRD website/submission form between March 13 and April 18, 2008, at 5:00 pm

WestConn students (undergraduate and graduate) who are doing or have recently done academic research are invited to present their research at WRD which will be held on May 8, 2008.

All student submissions must be approved by the faculty member with whom the student did the research prior to submission.

New this year: all submissions must be submitted on-line to the WRD website/submission form that will be available March 13, 2008.

Specify the name and current email address of the student presenter(s) and the faculty mentor.

FORMAT STYLES

  1. Poster session (details will be distributed on receipt of abstract)
  2. Seminar (oral presentation lasting about 7 minutes long – there are very few openings for this format. Seminar presentations may also be presented later at the poster session.).
  3. Other (please specify the requested format and the space and materials required)

ABSTRACTS
Abstract Format:

  • First Line: Title of Research Project in capital letters
  • Second Line: Student Name(s) +, in parentheses, undergraduate or graduate
  • Third Line: Faculty mentor’s name and department in parentheses
  • Fifth line, etc. Abstract; no indentation; single spaced; limit of 100 words

This is a firm (concrete) deadline, so that we have time to review submissions and notify presenters. No late entries will be accepted.
