What is WestConn Research Day (WRD)? WRD (WestConn Research Day) is a conference at which students at WestConn can share their research or other professional activities (such as paintings and sculptures for Art majors and writing or playing music for Music majors, etc.) with the University Community. To participate in WRD, students should seek the advice and assistance of the faculty member they are working with. Student abstracts should be approved by the faculty mentor before they are submitted to WRD on the WRD web site. The WRD committee will review the submissions. Poorly written and unprofessional abstracts may be rejected. Students will be notified directly by a WRD committee member as to whether their abstract has been accepted. |
