Due to circumstances beyond our control, the residential portion of the Young Writers Conference has been cancelled; however, the day program will still run from July 25-29, 9AM-4PM.
Come join our community of writers for five days of fun, friendship and learning about the craft of writing. Each workshop will be led by a published writer, and participants will be encouraged to contribute to the 2011 conference journal, to be compiled and published after the conference ends. Registration begins immediately. Hurry, space is limited! Fifty dollar discount for early registration, before June 10. Financial need scholarships available

Tuition:
Resident students(Grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2011): $950, includes a get acquainted party on Sunday night, breakfasts, lunches and dinners Monday through Friday, dorm room (double), a backpack, a conference journal, and a journal-signing party in the fall.
Day students (Grades 7-12, fall of 2011): $550, includes breakfasts and lunches Monday through Friday, a backpack, a conference journal, and a journal-signing party in the fall.
Registration
Deadline for tuition and registration form is June 30, 2011 for resident students and July 15, 2011 for day students. If you cannot make this deadline, please contact Prof. Paris-Purtle at parispurtlel@wcsu.edu for an extension. Fifty dollar discount for early registration, before June 10.
