Achieving full participation and integration of individuals with disabilities requires the cooperative efforts of all departments, their faculty and staff, and AAS at WCSU. As a WCSU faculty and\/or staff member, you play a vital role in promoting access for individuals with disabilities. By implementing accessibility best practices, you are improving the usability for <strong>all <\/strong>users. Start here for an overview of understanding accessibility and how you can help us in our efforts to promote inclusion.<\/p>\n<p><\/span>Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) have been developed through the W3C process in cooperation with individuals and organizations around the world, with a goal of proving a single shared standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally. WCAG 2.0 is a stable, referenceable technical standard. It has 12 guidelines that are organized under 4 principles: perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
