The first step is to schedule your Student Support Plan: New Plan Meeting<\/em>. During this meeting, your plan advisor will work with you to create a plan for improvement. Your advisor will review and discuss the various resources available at WCSU, which will help to position you for success. In addition. You and your advisor will set goals based on your academic standing, degree progress, pace, gpa, and requirements needed for success in your major program. You will also be matched with a CRLA trained peer mentor, participate in workshops, and schedule recurring meetings for follow-up with your plan advisor.<\/p>\n

At the end of the semester, after your final grades are posted and your new GPA is calculated, you will review your plan with your advisor to evaluate changes in your performance and progress. Together, you and your advisor will determine whether you have reached Good Academic Standing or if another plan is needed. University Academic Standing is based on each semester's term, and cumulative GPA. GPA is calculated for all degree and non-degree seeking students at the end of each Fall and Spring semesters. While credits and grades earned outside the university are not included in determining academic standing, credits attempted and earned outside the university are included in evaluating for SAP for Financial Aid.
