Michael Weber has been serving as president & CEO of HealthQuest since March 2007. HealthQuest is located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and is the parent company of Putnam Hospital Center, Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Northern Dutchess Hospital, the Thompson House nursing home, Alamo Ambulance, Hudson Valley Home Care, VBH Insurance Company, Wells Manor, RDSI (physician practices) and the three hospital Foundations. HQ employs 4,700 people and has an annual operating budget of $550 million.
His prior position was the president & CEO of Putnam Hospital Center from 2000 to 2007 and CFO from 1986 to 2000. Prior to 1986, he held the position of CFO in an upstate N.Y. hospital.
Weber graduated from Clarence Central High School (suburb of Buffalo, N.Y.) in 1973 where he met his wife Leslie of 31 years. He earned his bachelors degree in Accounting from Canisius College in 1981 and attended WestConn from 1993 to 1996 earning his masters degree in Health Administration.
He and his wife Leslie have two daughters, one son and three grandsons.
