The art reflects memories and moments of the people and places that have kept me motivated through these trying times.<\/p>\n<h3>Artist Bio<\/h3>\n<p>David Flook, of Bridgewater, CT, is a native of the United Kingdom. He attributes the origins of his education in color theory and design to an apprenticeship creating original works for clients at a cutting-edge U.K. tattoo studio. Following his move to the United States, he embarked on art studies to prepare for a career in the visual arts, earning a BA degree at WCSU with dual concentrations in painting and illustration. His graduate studies at WCSU have focused on painting, with his thesis work including plein air works of his Connecticut hometown, and paintings of family in landscapes from memories of the UK.
