He earned his degree at Tyler School of Art at Temple University, Philadelphia, where he studied with renowned illustrator David Noyes. His first assignment came just out of school from Washington City Paper in Washington, DC, where he had sent sample illustrations on missing stop signs.<\/p>\n<p>For over fifteen years, Krause has worked with a wide range of clients, including Deloitte, McGraw Hill, National Park Service, Time Warner Books, Random House, Pew Charitable Trusts, and with publications such as Time, Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Playboy and Businessweek.
