He received his MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and his BA from Kenyon College. Recent exhibitions of his work include solo shows: Glacial Movements at Ishibashi Gallery; Glacial Folds at Seton Hill University; Folded Cyanotypes and Formworks at Jennifer Terzian Gallery. His work has been exhibited in recent group shows at Wadsworth Atheneum; Martin Museum, Baylor University, TX; drj art projects, Berlin, Germany; and in a traveling exhibition \u201cArctic Hysteria\u201d in Asker and Bergen, Norway, and St. Petersburg, Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Fritz\u2019s curatorial work includes many projects, among them: Anni Albers: Work with Materials at Syracuse University Art Museum; In Thread and On Paper: Anni Albers in Connecticut at the New Britain Museum of American Art; Becoming Trees at Concord Art, Concord, Massachusetts; and Water Access at the Ely Center of Contemporary Art, New Haven, Connecticut.<\/p>\n<p>Fritz is the recipient of many awards and residencies, including the Connecticut Art Fellowship; Bauhaus Dessau Artist-in-Residence; the Arctic Circle Residency; and Shiro Oni Residency, Japan.
