In these pictures she is&nbsp;dissecting the reproductive tracts of female fruit flies (<em>Drosophila melanogaster<\/em>) and counting eggs. She is trying to determine whether knockdown of the&nbsp;<em>foraging<\/em>&nbsp;gene has an effect on egg laying and hatchability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><span class=\"tadv-color\" style=\"color: #0709e3\">Diamondback Terrapins<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">John Michael Arnett in the field working with terrapins!
