When asked about her favorite, she said BIO 104, all thanks to the cool specimens, like jellyfish, she works with.

One of Abigail’s earlier projects with Dr. Christopher launched her into her current role. She has enjoyed working closely with Biology professors and grad students ever since. Her various responsibilities through the years, and collaboration with professors, have given her valuable foundational skills for her future.

Abigail graduates next semester and plans to head to California to join a Clinical Laboratory Scientist program. She’s excited about working in diagnostics and making an impact from the lab bench; no patient interaction required. Her time in the biology department has given her a strong foundation for more high-tech lab work ahead, and she’s ready to take it on.

Previous Student Spotlights

Abigail Adney, the Biology Department’s Backbone For the past two years, Abigail Adney has been a behind-the-scenes force helping the biology department run smoothly, from washing labware and prepping instructional materials to mixing up gels and recipes. She first started assisting with …

["post-3730","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
