Bi-Annual Career Fair – Spring 2021
Each semester, the WCSU Career Success Center (CSC) offers many opportunities for students and alumni (of all majors) to connect with employers, research companies and find employment. Whether a Freshman, or Senior, students are encouraged to begin attending career fairs and networking events during their Freshman year, so they are well equipped to find employment before graduation. Workshops, classroom visits and resume critique sessions are scheduled to help students prepare for this important career event.
This Spring, the CDC will partner with Central Connecticut State University for four virtual career fairs. Students and alumni should check their Handshake accounts to RSVP, research attending employers, and select appointment times. Those fairs are:
-
- Career & Internship Fair (host CCSU): Tuesday, February 9th, from 1 to 4
- Business, Finance, Marketing, Arts, Media & Entertainment Career Fair (host WCSU): Tuesday, March 30th, from 12 to 3
- Education, Healthcare, Non-Profit & Government Career Fair (host WCSU): Wednesday, March 31st, from 12 to 3
- Education Career Fair (host CCSU): Tuesday, April 6th, from 3 to 6
Each fair is by invitation and invitations will be sent out to those who have created an account on our job board/database, “Handshake.”
In the meantime, if you have an interest in participating in a future career fair, please email the Associate Director of the Career Success Center, Debra Manente, at manented@wcsu.edu., and she will be happy to answer any questions and provide instructions to connect on Handshake.
