Resident Assistants (RA) have many roles, (peer counselor, community builder, academic guide) all of which work to bring resident students together as a community. Becoming an <\/span><\/span>RA will gain you valuable first-hand leadership experience, and through the RA training and experience you will learn a variety of skills to be used in any field after graduation which will differentiate you from your competition in the workforce.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Become An Academic Resource Mentor (ARM)<\/h3>\n

Academic Resource Mentors (ARM) are student peer leaders who live in each building on campus and whose primary job is to assist students in utilizing the University's resources to their fullest. Working as an ARM will develop crucial leadership and interpersonal skills which will be invaluable in life during and after your time at the University. ARMs also gain the benefit of having the cost of their single room housing waived.<\/p>\n

Become A Career Peer Leader (CPL)<\/h3>\n

Career Peer Leaders (CPL) are students whose job is entirely dedicated to assisting students and alumni with achieving their own career goals. As a CPL you can expect to work with students on a wide variety of subjects like resumes and cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, job searches and much more in the University's Career Success Center. Working as a CPL also opens opportunities to learn new and high demand skills such as web design, copywriting and social media marketing for example.<\/p>\n
