Spring  2015 Workshops


The Career Development Center offers a wide range of workshops to assist students with their career planning and job search.

  *Pre-registration is required for any of the workshops through our on-line College Central system.

(If students have not yet set up an account in our system, they should do so before attempting to register for a workshop.  (Registration is very quick.))

Senior Job Search Information Session   *

Graduating Seniors who are seeking employment and also wish to participate in On/Off Campus Interview Program must attend one of the Senior Job Search Info Sessions. If you have a conflict with attending the Info Session please contact the Career Development Center at 203-837-8263.

Come learn how to develop a LinkedIn profile, update your profile, and learn job search and networking techniques through LinkedIn

How to Make the Most of the Career Fair Workshops

Learn how to prepare for the upcoming CDC Career Fair that will take place on April 8th. Develop strategies on how to research participating employers in advance, identify your skills sets, making a good impression and post fair follow-up.

These critique sessions are open times for individual resume critiques on a first come, first served basis. Bring your completed resume to this critique.    You do not need to pre-register for this activity.

Resume critiques can also be done during CDC "Drop-In Hours" which are held:
Wednesdays from 9am-11am and Thursdays from 1pm - 3pm in the CDC, Student Center 207.
 Westside Drop-In Hours are held on Tuesdays from 1pm-4pm in the Westside Campus Center room 300E.
