Please join us this Thursday evening September 16  for a special performance by the stand up comedian Frankie Becerra.

Frankie Becerra is a standup comic, writer, and actor who has performed all over the tristate area and in NYC clubs such as Standup NY, Broadway Comedy Club, and many more. Frankie has also produced many of his own live comedy shows in New York, and hosts an open mic night in Brewster, NY. Frankie graduated from WCSU in 2017 and was a regular coffeehouse performer during his time as a student.

Open Mic sign-ups begin at 7:30p.m. and the featured act will be from 9-9:45 p.m.  Our open mic will start off the evening from 8-9 p.m. All students will be required to social distance with seating and wear a mask. Anyone not following these guidelines will be asked to leave.  There is limited seating so please arrive early to guarantee a seat.

Enjoy the music, along with complimentary beverages and snacks. We look forward to seeing you this Thursday for our Coffeehouse performance in the lower level of the Student Center.

Coffeehouse in the Colonial Corner with Jazz Ensemble

Are you interested in sharing your talents or enjoy watching others perform during open mic?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the questions above, then the Midtown Coffeehouse is the place for you. Coffeehouse is every Thursday night from 8-10 p.m. in the tent on the Science Building lawn under the white tent until weather brings us indoors to the Midtown Student Center Colonial Corner.
