{"id":1121,"date":"2017-08-08T17:14:59","date_gmt":"2017-08-08T17:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/committees-itc\/agendas-2009-11-12\/"},"modified":"2017-08-08T17:15:57","modified_gmt":"2017-08-08T17:15:57","slug":"agendas-2009-11-12","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/committees-itc\/agendas\/agendas-2009-11-12\/","title":{"rendered":"December, 12 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<p class=\"title\">Information Technology Committee Meeting Agenda<\/p>\n<p class=\"subTitle\" style=\"color:#999999;margin-top:15px;font-weight:normal;border-top:#ccc 1px solid;padding-top:10px\">November 12, 2009 OM304, 12-1:30pm<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Issues\/Questions\/Updates<\/li>\n<li>Update  from Rebecca Woodward on Media Services Initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Update  from Veronica Kenausis on Library Initiatives<\/li>\n<li> Review  &amp; Progress on Action Items from September and October minutes\n<ul>\n<li>Lorraine  requested a report from WestConnect of all technology classrooms that are left  unlocked at the end of the day where either the police lock them or they auto  lock at 11 pm.\u00a0 This is done but it is not in a readable format.\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>Lorraine  to review the Arts &amp; Sciences criteria for purchasing new computers and  printers for faculty. <\/li>\n<li>Mitch  Wagener and Veronica Kenausis agreed to test free bibliography software and  EndNote and do a write-up with recommendation.<\/li>\n<li>Veronica  and Dan Goble were asked to summarize in a paragraph or two the different types  of streaming audio and\/or video available for students and faculty at WestConn.<\/li>\n<li>Veronica  and Rebecca were asked to prepare a list of questions relating to copyright  issues for Theresa O\u2019Brien, Contract Compliance Officer at the SO.<\/li>\n<li>Lorraine  asked the ITC members to let her know which Sharp projectors should be  prioritized. Rich Montague gave us WS377C, WS247A, WS247B, WS338, WS208,  WS377B, WS134, WS134A.<\/li>\n<li>Lorraine  will try to order machines before the 11\/12\/09 ITC meeting.\u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>Lorraine  will draft a memo to faculty on how budget reductions will impact technology  for faculty (hopefully before 11\/12 meeting) and share it with the ITC at the  11\/12\/09 meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Dan  and Kit to finalize head counts for their schools by the next meeting.\u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>A  summary of machine installations done from FY04 through October 8, 2009 was  distributed.
