Novel Coronavirus and COVID-19

April 9 — President’s Holiday wishes

April 9, 2020

Dear Members of our University Community,

During these most difficult of times, I want to express my hopes that you can enjoy, to the extent possible, the upcoming holiday weekend.  We all deserve a much-needed break from the daily stress and strains of this terrible pandemic.

Also, I wish to give our greetings to the members of the Jewish and Christian faiths who observe Passover and Easter – both are of special significance symbolizing our hopes that the severe trial and tribulations we are now enduring will soon pass and better days are ahead.

Finally, I want to express my deep, personal appreciation for the tremendous work our faculty, staff and students are currently doing in continuing the great mission of higher education that our University does in spite of such trying circumstances.  You are truly inspirational and courageous in your devotion to the University in spite of this horrible coronavirus crisis.

Please stay safe and healthy and we all hope to see you soon in person back at our University campuses!

Yours truly,

Dr. John B. Clark

President
