Dr. Gunter has experiences working in community outpatient clinics, private practice and university counseling centers.\u00a0 Dr. Gunter\u2019s areas of special interests are multicultural counseling, as well as consultation and outreach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holly L. Col\u00f3n, LPC, LADC<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Counselor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ms. Col\u00f3n<\/strong> is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. \u00a0She received her Master of Science in Counselor Education with specialization in Clinical Mental Counseling from Western Connecticut State University. She has worked in private practice, behavioral health\/substance abuse treatment outpatient setting and mental health inpatient settings during her career. Her areas of special interest are multicultural counseling and substance abuse counseling. Ms. Colon is bilingual, fluent in Spanish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jennifer C. Huber, LCSW<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Counselor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ms. Huber<\/strong> is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. She has experience working in outpatient agency settings, public school settings and in private practice providing individual and family treatment to children, adolescents and adults. Her areas of special interest include management of symptoms related to anxiety, trauma and challenging life stressors and transitions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Valerie A. Smith, LCSW<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Counselor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ms. Smith<\/strong> is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. \u00a0She received her Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.\u00a0 She has primarily worked in mental health outpatient setting, providing trauma informed individual, family, and group therapy. Her areas of special interest are identity development and individual wellne<span style=\"color: #333333\">ss.\u00a0 Individual wellness includes emotional, mental, spiritual, social, physical, and environmental in order to achieve optimal health and well-being.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Rebekah Sue Carolla<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Administrative Assistant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ms. Carolla<\/strong> is the Administrative Assistant for WCSU Counseling Services. She earned her paralegal certification through Branford Hall Career Institute, and her AAB in Business Administration through Eastern Gateway Community College.
