DESCRIPTION:AFFILIATED EVENT: BREWSTER FALL FESTIVAL: Cultural Arts Coalition invites you and the family to celebrate the upcoming fall season at the Brewster Fall Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Discover different treats from our favorite culinary vendors\, watch live entertainment and performances\, play games\, or meet some new people. Cultural Arts Coalition is proud to have had over 4\,000 attendees\, 125 vendors and 2 stages of free entertainment each year. This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages\, from bouncy houses and crafts for kids to endless food and shopping for adults! \nOur free one-day event will be the most fun yet as we celebrate 30 YEARS of Brewster Fall Festival. Come and walk along the historical Main Street of Brewster\, NY! You can stop in at The Southeast Museum to view the exhibits\, or check out the restoration of Old Town Hall Theater. This year’s fundraiser hopes to bring the community together through art and culture as we continue to plan programming for the Studio Around the Corner and the Old Town Hall Theater. \nFree parking is available at the ‘Tristate Commuter Lot’ on Park Street and Morningthorpe Ave. Trolley service courtesy of Putnam County will be available to bring festival goers between this parking lot and Main Street throughout the day. TOSCAC was established as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation in August 2010 with the purpose\, as detailed in the incorporation papers\, “… to promote and raise funds for the development and effective management of affordable\, accessible performance space that will provide citizens of the Town of Southeast opportunities to participate in and appreciate cultural arts\, including lectures\, theater\, dance\, film\, music\, visual arts\, and inclusive community events.” Our current focus is the renovation of the Southeast Old Town Hall\, a historic landmark within the Village of Brewster and a perfect venue to serve as a cultural hub. The Old Town Hall has been described as a “Jewel in the Center of Brewster” and its renovation will help foster the revitalization of downtown Brewster.
