DESCRIPTION:CSO SMASH: MODDED SUPER SMASH BROS.ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT: Grab your controller\, and don’t take a shower\, because you need time to practice for the “CSO SMASH: Modded Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament.” It will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Westside Campus Center’s Gaming Area. \nThe tournament will follow this semi-competitive ruleset:\n– Matches will be 1v1.\n– Players will have 3 stocks.\n– There will be a 7 minute timer for each match.\n– Matches will take place on stages in their Battlefield form.\n– Items/stage hazards will be turned off.\n– All mods applied will only alter characters costumes\, and NOT gameplay. (A list of mods will be made available here). \nIf you have any controller scheme/naming preferences\, please come to the event early so that you may configure them. \nThe first-place prize for the tournament will be a $50 Amazon gift card\, with second-place prize being a Bud Light Bluetooth speaker. There will be food\, drinks\, and other games available at the event! DESCRIPTION:BEST DARN JAZZ CLUB: We are excited to announce our upcoming Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury (BDJC) which will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Wolves Den in the lower level of the Midtown Student Center. The BDJC is always free to our students\, faculty\, staff and alumni. It Is also open to the general public so anyone can invite family and friends. There is no cost to anyone not from WCSU although donations are welcome. There are light snacks and a cash bar with wine and beer for those 21 and over. \nTwo terrific jazz groups will be performing: the first is the Malin Carta Quartet with Malin Carta on saxophone and voice\, Brian Suto on guitar\, Larry Davis on drums\, and Clayton Thompson on bass. The second group is the Elijah Atkins Quartet with Elijah Atkins on drums\, Israel Corona Galan on guitar\, Peter Francis on saxophone\, Matthew Munzner on bass.

DESCRIPTION:RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN’S ALLEGRO: This ensemble musical chronicles nearly four decades in the life of an Everyman\, Joseph Taylor\, Jr.\, from cradle through a mid-life discovery of who he is and what his life is truly about. The first musical to be staged by a director who also served as choreographer (the legendary Agnes de Mille)\, Allegro follows a unique structural format traveling from Joe’s birth through his childhood\, from college dorm to marriage altar\, and on to his career; from the tranquility of his small Midwestern hometown to the hectic din of big city life\, in a series of vignettes and musical sequences dazzling in their simplicity and stunning in their impact. Ahead of its time theatrically\, Allegro remains timeless in its appeal. From 8 to 10:30 p.m. in the Main Stage Theater in the Visual and Performing Arts Building.
