SUMMARY:Rhinoceros
DESCRIPTION:RHINOCEROS: Presented in the Studio Theatre at the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Westside campus\, April 17 – 26. \n\n\n\n\n\nRhinoceros\nby Eugène Ionesco\ntranslated by Derek Prouse\nDirector: Sal Trapani \nClick here to learn more about the production and to select other performance dates/times. \n  \nAbout the Show \nA small town is besieged by one roaring citizen who becomes a rhinoceros and proceeds to trample on the social order. As more citizens are transformed into rhinoceroses\, the trampling becomes overwhelming. One sane man\, Berenger\, remains\, unable to change his form and identity. The sublime is confused with the ridiculous in this savage commentary on the human condition. \nAccessible seating is available in limited quantity\, please email Eric Gomez\, VPAC Events Coordinator at gomeze@wcsu.edu to inquire about accessible seating. You may also call the box office at (203) 837-3266. \nWCSU student tickets are $10 and are available for purchase at the VPAC box office. \nNo refunds are permitted; all sales are final. Please note that tickets are subject to a higher price at the box office. The venue recommends purchasing your tickets in advance at wcsuvpac.eventbrite.com. \n“Rhinoceros” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French\, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com \n\n\n\n\n\nShow less
