DESCRIPTION:WESTCONN WOMEN’S LACROSSE IN THE LEC SEMI-FINALS: The top-ranked Wolves will play in the LEC Semi-Finals at 3:30 p.m. at the Westside Athletic Complex. For more information\, visit https://westconnathletics.com/. \nThe Western Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse team\, coached by Rachael Griffith (3rd Season)\, has qualified for the Little East Conference (LEC) Championship Tournament for the 25th time and the 17th year in a row. Defending LEC Champion WestConn is the top in the six-team field\, having won the regular season crown with a perfect 8-0 record in conference play\, and has earned a bye into the semifinal round when the Wolves will host either the Plymouth State University Panthers or the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons on Thursday\, April 30 at 3:30 p.m. The Wolves finished the 2025 regular season with a 13-3 overall record\, its seventh full season of double digit victories in a row\, and dominated league opponents with seven double-digit victories and an eight win by seven goals.  Admission on Thursday is free and the game will be followed by an LEC Men’s Lacrosse Semifinal game at 7 p.m.
