DESCRIPTION:STUDENT CERAMICS SALE: WCSU Art Department to host student ceramics sale Dec. 8\, 10 & 11 \nThe Department of Art will host a student ceramics sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday\, Dec 8\, 2022\, in Room 017 of White Hall on the Midtown campus\, and during the Holiday Pops Concert Saturday and Sunday\, Dec 10 & 11\, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Westside campus. \nStudents will sell their handmade ceramic craft products at the sale. They have produced a variety of functional and non-toxic ceramic wares as part of their work in Jurg Lanzrein’s ceramics classes at WCSU. Ceramics on sale for holiday gift-giving and personal use will include plates\, bowls\, and other pieces that are made with pigmented clays or have been given a glazed finish. \nPurchases can be made with cash or check only. Funds raised from the sale will be used to purchase supplies for the Art Department ceramics program. A tour of the WCSU art studio and information about the ceramics process will be available to visitors during the sale on Dec 8th. Or come on Dec 10th & 11th and make a night of it by also attending the Holiday Pops Concert. This FREE\, family-friendly event\, will have over 50 artists and vendors that line the roadway that day\, highlighting the arts\, music\, crafters\, and local small businesses. Macaroni Kid & Ventura Law is sponsoring a Family Fun Zone\, with plenty of exciting activities for people of all ages!! \nCome with an appetite as the Danbury Street Festival has a variety of culinary delights including BBQ\, burgers\, hot dogs\, vegan options\, tacos\, drinks\, deserts\, and much much more!
