DESCRIPTION:CAMPUS CUISINE – LATIN NIGHT: Join us from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in Berkshire Hall on the Midtown campus \, for our Campus Cuisine themed Latin Night. This will cost a meal swipe and $5. There will be appetizers\, entrees\, and dessert. For appetizers there will be ceviche plantain cups and empanadas (cheese or beef). For entrees there will be mofongo – mashed plantains with shrimp\, meat paella\, and steak arepa. For dessert there will be flan\, apple filled churros with ice cream\, and pastelitos with guava and cream cheese. There will also be vegetarian options available upon request.

DESCRIPTION:LATIN BLOCK PARTY: Please join Western Connecticut State University’s UndocuAlly Task Force\, Western Beyond Borders\, Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion\, Pre-Collegiate Programs\, Admissions\, SGA\, LASO\, Social Sciences Department and Admissions; CityCenter Danbury; Connecticut Students for a Dream; Ecuadorian Civic Center of Greater Danbury; and Dominican Community Center for a Latin Block Party to celebrate the Latin community and raise funds for the university’s UndocuAlly Scholarship\, which funds students who are undocumented community members or who come from mixed status families. From 5 to 8 p.m. at the Danbury Green on Main Street in Danbury. There will be a free WestConn shuttle and parking in the Patriot Garage. The event will include live music and dancing\, a 360 photo booth\, a raffle for gift cards and WestConn swag\, food trucks\, and free food vouchers for students.
