DESCRIPTION:IN THEIR SHOES – AUTHOR TALK WITH JOANNA DREBY: Join students\, faculty\, and staff for a special program in partnership with The WCSU Libraries\, WCSU UndocuAlly\, Ben & Jerry’s\, CT Students for a Dream\, and ALCU Connecticut! \nIn “Surviving the ICE Age\,” sociologist Joanna Dreby draws on interviews with young adults with foreign-born parents to better understand what it was like to grow up during a time of heightened U.S. migratory control. Dreby also highlights stories that offer hope.
