DESCRIPTION:JAZZ COMBOS: Four of Western’s outstanding student jazz combos will be featured performing a mix of standards and original compositions and arrangements. From 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Veronica Hagman Concert Hall in the VPAC. \n**Tickets at the Faculty\, Staff and Student rate are available at the VPAC box office located in the VPAC lobby – a valid WCSU ID is required at the time of purchase** \nNOTE: Advance ticket purchases made online are $7 plus fees; Tickets purchased at the door are $10. \nNo refunds or exchanges are permitted\, all sales are final. \nPlease note that audience members must be masked at all times inside the Visual and Performing Arts Center without exception. In addition\, we are enforcing 3 ft. social distancing\, and as such\, seating inside our theatre is limited to every other seat. Because of the reduced capacity of our theatre\, we are asking all patrons to purchase their ticket in advance here on Eventbrite. Any open seats at the start time of the show will be released to other students so they can see the show instead. \n‘ERNEST AND THE PALE MOON”: \nErnest and the Pale Moon\nby Oliver Lansley\nDirector: Donna Baldwin-Bradby\nInspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe and Alfred Hitchcock\, Ernest and the Pale Moon is a play written in the style of a noir horror. Ernest is a young man who spends his days watching the beautiful young woman who lives in the apartment block across from him. When he sees her with another man he is thrown into a jealous rage\, which eventually leads to murder. However\, all is not as it seems and slowly Ernest’s guilt sends him spiraling into madness. \nPlease note that audience members must be masked at all times inside the Visual and Performing Arts Center without exception. In addition\, we are enforcing 3 ft. social distancing\, and as such\, seating is extremely limited.
