DESCRIPTION:BOARD OF REGENTS MEETING: WestConn will host the upcoming Board of Regents meeting here on campus.  This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our exciting growth and spirit here at WestConn. President (Interim) Manohar Singh and Provost (Interim) Stephen Hegedus will provide an update on WestConn and our NECHE work update. \nIf you would like to register for public comment\, please see the outline below. \nAdditionally\, you are welcome to attend the meeting in person at the Westside Campus Center\, Ballroom South. There will be limited seating available within the room\, but there will also be an overflow room in Ballroom North for a live feed on screen. Requests to provide in-person comments (including virtual appearances) must be received at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting by emailing the Secretary to the Board at Pamela.Heleen@ct.edu. \nEach speaker must specify the subject of their comments. A confirmation email with instructions to access the meeting will be forwarded the day before the meeting. In fairness to all who wish to address the Board\, each speaker must abide by a three-minute time limit. At the end of each speaker’s allotted time\, the speaker will be asked to yield to the next speaker. \nPresenters will be prioritized based on the agenda of the meeting. First\, the Regents will hear comments on action items before them; students will speak first\, followed by the public\, faculty\, and staff. If time remains within the 30 minutes allocated to public comment\, general presentations will be heard first from students followed by the public\, faculty\, and staff. Supplemental information may be provided in written form for distribution to the Regents. Again\, should time not be sufficient to accommodate all speakers\, written submissions are encouraged.” \n  \n
