SUMMARY:Sleeping Giant Hike
DESCRIPTION:SLEEPING GIANT MID DAY HIKE: Join the Adventure Club at Sleeping Giant State Park! We are hiking up the blue trail\, which is steep with some rock scrambling\, but the trail is short\, which means a lot of fun! Once we reach the top we will stop for lunch and admire the view; on a clear day you can see Long Island Sound. On the way down we will follow the tower trail\, which is a fire road\, so a nice and easy downhill. \nThe plan is to meet at the Sleeping Giant State Park parking lot at 10:45 a.m. and be back at the parking lot at 1:30 p.m. at the latest. SUMMARY:Mohawk Sunset Sleepover
DESCRIPTION:MOHAWK SUNSET SLEEPOVER: Join the Adventure Club for a camp-out at Mohawk. We will leave from the Student Center bus stop on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and watch the sunset from the top of the mountain and have dinner around the campfire. We will return to campus Saturday morning around 11 a.m. There is no hiking required from the parking lot to the campsite but plenty of trails to explore. Expect beautiful views\, great company and tasty smores! Space for this trip is limited so be sure to sign up on Engage and fill out the liability waiver to reserve your spot. This is an overnight trip!
