DESCRIPTION:STUDENT CERAMICS SALE: WCSU Art Department to host student ceramics sale Dec. 8\, 10 & 11 \nThe Department of Art will host a student ceramics sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday\, Dec 8\, 2022\, in Room 017 of White Hall on the Midtown campus\, and during the Holiday Pops Concert Saturday and Sunday\, Dec 10 & 11\, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Westside campus. \nStudents will sell their handmade ceramic craft products at the sale. They have produced a variety of functional and non-toxic ceramic wares as part of their work in Jurg Lanzrein’s ceramics classes at WCSU. Ceramics on sale for holiday gift-giving and personal use will include plates\, bowls\, and other pieces that are made with pigmented clays or have been given a glazed finish. \nPurchases can be made with cash or check only. Funds raised from the sale will be used to purchase supplies for the Art Department ceramics program. A tour of the WCSU art studio and information about the ceramics process will be available to visitors during the sale on Dec 8th. Or come on Dec 10th & 11th and make a night of it by also attending the Holiday Pops Concert. DESCRIPTION:WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA: Please join us in welcoming Wreaths Across America to Danbury! The convoy to Arlington National Cemetary will consist of 12 tractor trailers\, 12 Wreaths Across America Chevy Vehicles\, 20+ police cruisers\, a tour bus and Patriot Guard Motorcycles. The public is encouraged to welcome and view the convoy from University Blvd. Directly following the convoy’s arrival\, there will be an indoor ceremony in the ballroom of the WCSU Campus Center following the convoy’s arrival to honor Gold & Blue Star Families and Veterans.
