All are welcome – current students\, faculty\, alumni\, and prospective students. Come learn more about our unique low-residency program\, which offers week-long residencies in Oscar Wilde’s historic home in Dublin\, the Highlights Retreat Center in the Pocono Mountains\, and on WCSU’s campus in Danbury. \nWine is not included in the ticket. DESCRIPTION:ECLIPSE OBSERVATION: On Monday\, April 8\, Danbury will experience a deep partial solar eclipse of about 93%! The WCSU community and general public are invited to witness the partial solar eclipse on the university’s Midtown campus. Weather permitting\, astronomy instructors and volunteers will lead safe solar viewing and eclipse-related activities from 1:45 – 4:45 p.m. outside the Science Building. Maximum eclipse occurs about 3:26 p.m. \n  \nWarning: Do not look up at the sun without a safe solar filter or eclipse glasses! Regular sunglasses do not offer enough protection!  A limited number of eclipse glasses will be available for sale at the event.  \n
