DESCRIPTION:INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY: The Center for Empowerment and Education\, formerly the Women’s Center\, and WCSU Libraries are excited to invite WCSU students\, faculty\, and staff to submit a photo and story of a woman who inspires them. The woman can be someone they know personally\, a fictional character\, famous athlete/artist/musician/actor/etc.\, or historical figure. \nIf you are interested in submitting\, please complete the form at bit.ly/photostory22 by 3/4/22. Entries will be posted to the social media accounts for The Center for Empowerment and Education and WCSU Libraries. \nStudent participants may also enter to win a pair of AirPods Pro. Winner will be drawn on 3/8/22.

DESCRIPTION:EARTH IN CRISIS – HOW HOT IS TOO HOT?: Join the Danbury Library for this series of monthly talks at 5:30 p.m. by Dr. Stephen “Mitch” Wagener of the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Western Connecticut State University on our changing climate and the impact it has on our Earth. \nClimate warming makes heat waves hotter and more common. Heat raises humidity.
