DESCRIPTION:SURVIVOR ART GALLERY: The Center for Empowerment and Education is hosting a Survivor Art Gallery from noon to 7 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom on the Westside Campus showcasing students’ and community members’ paintings\, drawings\, photography\, poems\, stories\, and more that exemplify their story of abuse\, assault\, trauma\, healing and survival. The event is free and open to the public. Live musical performances by Madison Adams\, Kate Allard\, and Alexis Ferreira at 4 p.m. and Donovan Shaw at 6 p.m.!

DESCRIPTION:WCSU JAZZ FEST: The 2022 Jazz Fest kicks off with performances by the Vocal Jazz Ensemble\, Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combos. From 7 to 9 p.m. in the Veronica Hagman Concert Hall in the VPAC. \n**Tickets at the Faculty\, Staff and Student rate are available at the VPAC box office located in the VPAC lobby – a valid WCSU ID is required at the time of purchase** \nNOTE: Advance ticket purchases made online are $7 plus fees; Tickets purchased at the door are $10. \nNo refunds or exchanges are permitted\, all sales are final. \nPlease note that audience members must be masked at all times inside the Visual and Performing Arts Center without exception. In addition\, we are enforcing 3 ft. social distancing\, and as such\, seating inside our theatre is limited to every other seat. Because of the reduced capacity of our theatre\, we are asking all patrons to purchase their ticket in advance here on Eventbrite. Shows are likely to sell out\, so do not wait to purchase at the box office before the show. Tickets are subject to higher charges at the door as opposed to online. There is no pod seating or reserved seating\, it is general admission. Every-other seat inside the theatre will be designated for no seating. There will be no exceptions made to socially distanced seating. \nNo refunds are permitted; all sales are final.
