DESCRIPTION:HACU WEBINAR – SHRINKING FAILURE RATES IN GATEWAY COURSES: The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will host a webinar at 3 p.m.\, “Increasing Engagement Through Peer led learning.” With a focus on nontraditional students\, this webinar will focus on how Miami Dade College improved the pass rates amongst students that have not been supported by traditional academic systems. \nPresented by CircleIn\, attendees will learn how high impact peer led learning practices can improve a student’s chances of success in difficult gateway courses like math\, science and English.
