DESCRIPTION:WOLVES DAY OF GIVING 2025: Join us for WestConn’s largest fundraising event of the year! Wolves Day of Giving is a dedicated day where we come together as a community to support the future of WestConn and its students. \n  \nWolves Day of Giving (WDG) Schedule \n8 a.m. – 11 a.m. \nCampus Kick-Off Celebration\nLocation: Berkshire Hall\, Midtown campus\nAudience: Faculty/Staff/Alumni/Board Members/Sponsors/Danbury Community \n\nBagels & Breakfast Bites will be served.\nWolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual\, group\, or department/office.\n\nPrize: $500 for your favorite fund (+ pizza party for 8)\n\nPrizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media\n\n\n\n11 a.m. – 1 p.m. \nStory Time\nLocation: Haas Library\, Midtown campus\nAudience: All \n\nGather ‘round\, dear Wolves\, and listen to a librarian read your childhood favorites. Have a story that’s particularly special? Bring it! Or choose from our selection.\n\n11 a.m. – 1 pm  \nPantry Tours & Book Sale\nLocation: Wolves Den (ground floor\, Midtown Student Center)\nAudience: All \n\nStop by Wally’s Cupboard for a tour of the pantry and don’t miss our book sale fundraiser!\n\nnoon – 2 p.m. \nWolf Games\nLocation: Berkshire Hall\, Midtown campus\nAudience: Students \n\nRefreshments & snacks will be served.\nWolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual or group.\n\nPrize: $500 for your favorite fund (+ pizza party for 8).\n\n\nActivities:\n\nRock Paper Scissors\nFitness Center Challenges\nGym Challenge Events\nBlack History Month – Line Dancing\n\n\n\nInvite your favorite Professor or Staff Member to join the fun! \nPrizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media. \n1 p.m. – 4 p.m. \nWhat’s the Scoop? – Come check out the School with Heart! \nLocation: School of Professional Studies\, White Hall\, Room 127\, Midtown campus\nAudience: All \n\nRefreshments will be served including Scoops of Popcorn and Candy\nGet the scoop on life saving skills:  free CPR demonstrations throughout the event\nContribute towards creating fleece blankets for area shelters\nPrizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media\, with special bonuses for payroll deduction donors and more!\n\n5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. \nMid-Point Mania Meetup: Happy Hour\nLocation: VPAC\, Westside campus \nAudience: Faculty/Staff/Alumni/Board Members/Sponsors/Danbury Community \n\nColor and Light Exhibit in the Gallery\, Jazz Trio\nAppetizers\, mini-desserts\, and drinks will be served\nWolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual\, group\, or department/office\n\nPrize: $500 for your favorite fund (+ pizza party for 8).\n\n\nPrizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media including 10 pairs of tickets to Sunday in the Park with George and chances to win a pair of tickets to Sip and Create event of your choice.\n\n6 p.m.– 7:30 p.m. \nDiscussion & Raffle \nLocation: Haas Library lobby\, Midtown campus\nAudience: All \n\nJoin us for a discussion on food insecurity hosted by Wally’s Cupboard. And be sure to stick around for the raffle!\n\n8 p.m. – 10 p.m. \nSunday in the Park with George (Dress Rehearsal)\nLocation: VPAC Main Stage Theatre\, Westside campus \n\nFree for Faculty/Staff/Students.\nPrizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media\, with special bonuses for payroll deduction donors!\n\n8 p.m. – 10 p.m. \nBingo\nLocation: Westside Campus Center Ballroom\nAudience: Students \n\nPresented by the PAC and supported by the SGA.\nRefreshments & snacks will be served.\nWolf Spirit Challenge: Wear your favorite WestConn gear and participate as an individual or group.\n\nPrize: $500 for your favorite fund (+ pizza party for 8).\n\n\nPrizes & Incentives to donate or share on social media.\n\n  \nPrizes & Incentives to Give and Share on Social Media \nPayroll Deduction:  Sign up for a payroll deduction donation at any time throughout the day and get 3 extra Grand Prize Raffle tickets.  Attend one of the events and the first 10 people to sign up can choose a Camp Chair or a Golf Umbrella + 3 extra raffle tickets. \nAny Donation:  Raffle Ticket for one of 3 Grand Prizes \nSocial Media Share:  Share your favorite area of support on social media and receive a raffle ticket for one of three Grand Prizes\, include #wolvesdayofgiving2025 and tag your favorite WDG fund. Share multiple times receive multiple tickets.
