During the presentation\, LFI will discuss ways community organizations can become more authentically inclusive of people with disabilities\, not only in terms of physical access but in planning and programming and ensuring people with disabilities’ voices are at the table and heard. LFI will discuss topics such as Disability History and Pride\, Ableism\, Inclusion\, Belonging\, and steps toward making your organization more inclusive. DESCRIPTION:THE FUNDAMENTALS OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP: This complimentary one-day workshop will provide foundational knowledge through targeted education to mayors and their staff on the subject of Public-Private Partnerships (P3s). Private industry experts will explore the possibilities of P3 before discussing your city’s infrastructure challenges\, and any project proposals or ideas you might have.
