We are looking to discover together the power of art\, community\, and creativity through rotating art projects that work to tackle stress\, manage our chaotic lives\, and tame our wandering minds. Art can be a mindful and calming exercise in creative thinking\, but it can also be extraordinarily freeing\, allowing us to let go of perfection and embrace our own unique voice. We will be offering two sessions from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. in the IHHS center (WH 114). And did we mention … there’s free tea! **Note\, we will be skipping March 13 due to Spring Break.

THESIS EXHIBITION OPENING RECEPTION & ALUMNI NIGHT:  \n2024 MFA Thesis Exhibition\nOpening Reception & Alumni Night\nThursday\, March 21\, from 6 to 8 p.m.\nco-sponsored by the Department of Art and the Alumni Association \nThe Master of Fine Arts is the terminal degree for practicing\, professional artists. The M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition is the capstone experience of the graduate program\, demonstrating a personal direction and mastery in the work of the artists. Six graduate students will present their thesis work this year: Amy Caco\, Lucy Gallagher\, Taylor Green\, Andrew Mark\, William J Parrott III\, and Denise Rosa. \nThe exhibition will run from March 21 through April 7. The gallery will be open for viewing from noon to 4 pm Tuesday through Friday\, and from 1 to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. \nReserve a spot at the Opening Reception here.
