SUMMARY:CSU Making History Student Conference Call for Papers and Presentations
DESCRIPTION:ANNUAL CSU MAKING HISTORY CONFERENCE CALL FOR PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS: Every Spring\, the students and faculty of the History Departments at the four CSUs (Western Central\, Southern and Eastern) gather together to share our research\, learn about each other’s ideas and spend the day bonding over our love of history. \nThe WCSU History\, Philosophy and World Perspectives Department is very excited to host the CSU Making History Student Conference this year on our Midtown campus on Friday\, April 10. \nWe are very interested in hearing about your research from your History classes. \nAll students of all majors are welcome to participate. If you have a paper or project on a historical topic that you would like to share with other students and faculty\, please submit a proposal for your 20-minute-long presentation to Dr. Kate Allocco at alloccok@wcsu.edu. \nThe proposal deadline is Friday\, March 6. \nPlease make sure your proposal includes the following information: \n· Your name and university affiliation \n· Paper title \n· 250-word abstract \n· Any audio-visual needs. \nThe Call for Papers (CFP) can be found here: www.wcsu.edu/history/csu-history-student-conference/ \nWe look forward to seeing you at our annual conference! \nPlease feel free to email Dr. Kate Allocco with any questions.
