DESCRIPTION:FROM INVOLVEMENT TO IMPACT – CENTERTING STUDENT LEADERSHIP IN INSTITUTIONAL TRANSFORMATION: The Office of Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion is promoting this virtual event from HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities). \nJoin us for a transformative webinar that delves into how meaningful student leadership and partnership can drive institutional transformation\, particularly at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). We’ll spotlight Pasadena City College’s (PCC) Student Advisory Equipo—an innovative\, compensated council under the Title V HSI grant that positions students as co-leaders in shaping campus policies and initiatives. A key focus of this session will be cross-cultural collaboration\, highlighted by the partnership between the Student Advisory Equipo and BLACC (Black Lancer Advisory Collaborative Council)\, illustrating a powerful model for shared governance and equity-focused change.
