DESCRIPTION:SILENT WITNESS EXHIBIT: Come visit our Silent Witness Exhibit from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Westside Campus Center  in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The exhibit consists of statues of individuals\, across the state of Connecticut\, who have died due to acts of domestic and dating violence. All participants will be encouraged to reflect and share ways they can make a difference in the community\, both safely and effectively\, to help break the cycle of interpersonal violence. \nEvent hosted by The Center for Empowerment and Education.

DESCRIPTION:TAKE BACK THE NIGHT: Join Delta Gamma Phi from 7 to 10 p.m. in White Hall Room 122 on the Midtown campus for our annual Take Back the Night event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This evening is dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault\, and raising community awareness. \nThe event will feature guest speakers\, a candlelit vigil\, and a march around the quad to show solidarity with survivors. We will also hold an open mic for those who wish to share their personal stories or words of encouragement. \nEveryone is welcome to attend — whether you are a survivor\, an ally\, or simply wish to offer support. Together\, we can make a difference.
