DESCRIPTION:GREATER DANBURY AREA EVENT: “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE” ON STAGE: This December\, the beloved holiday classic “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE” will come to The Palace\, live on stage\, but with a very clever twist. It will be performed as an old time radio broadcast. George Bailey\, Mary\, Mr Potter\, and Clarence will all be there along with a few special surprises. \nWHAT IS A LIVE RADIO PLAY? A long long time ago… before television or the internet… families would sit around the radio listening to their favorite programs. Radio shows were usually performed by an ensemble of actors playing multiple characters. Along with the actors there was also the FOLEY ARTIST who was the person responsible for all of the sounds created during the show. \nThe Palace Danbury – 165 Main St\, Danbury\, from 2 to 5 p.m.
