DESCRIPTION:FIELD OF FLAGS: The university’s Student Veterans Organization (SVO) will begin to place several thousand American flags in front of the Old Main Building on the Midtown campus. Flag placement will begin at 11 a.m. and the public is invited to join WCSU’s SVO\, Campus Police and members of the Danbury Fire and Police Departments in placing flags. The Field of Flags will remain in place until Wednesday\, Nov. 15.

DESCRIPTION:LUNCH WITH A VET: The Career Success Center\, Student Veterans Association and Student Government Association will host a Lunch with a Vet event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Berkshire Hall on the Midtown campus. Students will have an opportunity to meet with military services and veterans to ask questions\, “Thank a Vet\,” and listen to their stories. There will also be a “22 Push-Up Challenge\,” where students have a chance to win an Amazon gift card.
