DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED: FRESH CHECK DAY: Due to inclement weather\, the 8th annual “Fresh-Check Day” will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Midtown Student Center Patio on Wednesday\, Sept. 26. Students will enjoy participating in engaging activities by visiting all the interactive booths – while learning about ways to improve mental health and reduce stresses. Campus and community resources will be readily available. Come and learn about wellness on WCSU and enjoy the prizes\, free food and giveaways. DESCRIPTION:STOP THE BLEED: The leading cause of preventable death in trauma is bleeding. Someone can bleed to death in under five minutes. Knowing how to prevent blood loss by controlling the bleed can save lives. Learn how to do just that in this “Stop the Bleed” class from 3 to 5 p.m. The class has a cap of 16 participants. Please register for the Stop the Bleed class here.
