DESCRIPTION:HIKING ON LILLINONAH TRAIL: Join the Adventure Club for a scenic hike at Upper Paugussett State Forest! We will meet at the parking lot at 3 p.m.\, and we will be back at roughly 6 p.m. There will be no transportation provided\, so if you need a ride contact the email at the end for carpooling options. Remember you have to RSVP on engage AND fill out the liability waiver to save a spot. SUMMARY:Breakneck Ridge Hiking Trip
DESCRIPTION:BREAKNECK RIDGE HIKING TRIP: Breakneck Ridge is a 3.7 mile loop consisting of great views\, lots of rock scrambling (hiking steep terrain using all four limbs)\, and lots to explore. It will take approximately four hours to complete. We will be leaving Saturday morning at 8 a.m. from the Student Center bus stop and returning around 3/3:30 p.m. Expect a steep ascent and chilly fall weather. \nThis trip is limited to ten people so be sure to sign up on engage. \nBe prepared\, the trail will be steep and you will need to climb on all fours to get up.

The phone should NOT be your light source\nWater\nLong sleeve shirt/light sweatshirt for when the sun sets\n\nWords of advice: \n\nThe ascent is steep. Avoid sweating by managing your layers while hiking. The ground may be wet or slippery. Flat-soled shoes are guaranteed to have you on your rear end. Leave them home.\nThe Pinnacle is exposed. There is always a breeze and it will get colder when the sun goes down. A headlamp offers a hands-free operation. You will need your hands to maintain your balance during the descent or to hold on to your trekking poles.\nLeave No Trace. Pack out what you pack in. SUMMARY:WAC Lemon Squeezer Hike
DESCRIPTION:WAC LEMON SQUEEZER HIKE: Morning-Afternoon hike at Lemon Squeezer Trail at Harriman State Park. Parking is limited and not guaranteed\, so a van will be provided from Midtown. The first 10 to sign up are eligible to ride in it. It will leave at 7:30 a.m. sharp.\nWe will start hiking at around 10 a.m.\, and it will go on through the afternoon\, so make sure to bring lunch for the trail too. Ending time isn’t concrete\, we won’t necessarily end at 4 p.m.. Rain date is the following Saturday (4/2). More information will be released as it gets closer.
