DESCRIPTION:STOP THE BLEED CLASS: The leading cause of preventable death in trauma is bleeding. Someone can bleed to death in under five minutes. Knowing how to prevent blood loss by controlling the bleed can save lives. Learn how to do just that in this “Stop the Bleed” class from 1 to 3 p.m in the Environmental Health and Safety Building (also known as the Boiler House located between the Midtown Student Center and Newbury Hall – enter from the south side near the intersection of the LH\, NH\, and SC pathway).
