DESCRIPTION:BEST DARN JAZZ CLUB: We are excited to announce our upcoming Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury (BDJC) which will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Wolves Den in the lower level of the Midtown Student Center. The BDJC is always free to our students\, faculty\, staff and alumni. It Is also open to the general public so anyone can invite family and friends. There is no cost to anyone not from WCSU although donations are welcome. There are light snacks and a cash bar with wine and beer for those 21 and over. \nTwo terrific jazz groups will be performing: the first is the Malin Carta Quartet with Malin Carta on saxophone and voice\, Brian Suto on guitar\, Larry Davis on drums\, and Clayton Thompson on bass. The second group is the Elijah Atkins Quartet with Elijah Atkins on drums\, Israel Corona Galan on guitar\, Peter Francis on saxophone\, Matthew Munzner on bass.

DESCRIPTION:WCSU FOOD PANTRY: The WCSU Food Pantry is now open for all students on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. \nThe WCSU Food Pantry is designed to provide support to students who are experiencing food insecurity for any reason. The WCSU Food Pantry is located in the Wolves Den in the lower level of the Midtown Student Center. Students may visit the WCSU Food Pantry once a week for up to twenty (20) items. We are also looking for volunteers to staff the WCSU Food Pantry. \nPlease contact the Dean of Students Office at (203) 837-9700 for more information. \nOn days the university is closed for holidays or inclement weather\, the food pantry will also be closed.

DESCRIPTION:MIDTOWN COFFEEHOUSE: Thursdays from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Wolves Den\, the lower level of the Midtown Student Center. There is open mic from 8 to 9 p.m.  Sign-up for that starts at 7:30 p.m. The Feature Act\, Magician Joseph Tran\, starts at 9 p.m. Join PAC for a spooky and comical night! \nAre you tired of spending your evenings alone in your room?\nAre you looking to meet new people\, listen to music?\nDo you enjoy going to concerts and free events with free food?\nAre you interested in sharing your talents or enjoy watching others perform during open mic? \nIf you answered ‘yes’ to any of the questions above\, then the Midtown Coffeehouse is the place for you.
