The New Works Festival! Celebrating the future of theatre arts<\/p>\n

Presented by CenterStage, a WCSU student organization<\/p>\n

4 – 5:30 p.m. – Staged Reading of “Lost Gravity,” a new play written by Rowan Cunningham, directed by August Kittleson<\/p>\n

6:30 – 8 p.m. – Workshop & Conference<\/p>\n

“Hair, costumes and makeup in showbiz: addressing it.” –\u00a0Janelle Robinson, from the original Broadway Cast of “Mary Poppins” and Broadway revival of “Oklahoma.”<\/p>\n

“Dance: Past, Present and Future – How we educate is how we can begin to make change.” –\u00a0Jenifer Turey, former Radio City Rockette and Broadway National Tour of “42nd Street” and “Will Rogers’ Follies.”<\/p>\n

“Theatre Arts Leaders: Representation, Creativity, The Future” – moderated by WCSU faculty member Dr. Donald P. Gagnon and featuring all 2024-25 WCSU Theatre Arts student organization presidents.<\/p>\n

Hands-on workshop and snack session: Create and take home your own “Everything” Jar through a guided workshop.<\/p>\n
